About the role
You make the visuals that bring cases in the door: paid ad creative, landing page graphics, case result cards, one-pagers, and short-form video cut from talking heads and client testimonials. You work for the marketing team at a US law firm, which means you are designing inside an established brand guide rather than inventing a look every week. The measure here is volume and turnaround. Ten solid assets a week beats one polished piece, and revisions come back sharp and specific, so you adjust rather than rebuild. AI tools are part of the normal workflow, not a shortcut you hide, and you are expected to use them to move faster on generation, cleanup, captions, and first cuts.
Key responsibilities
Ad and Landing Page Creative
- Design static and animated ad creative for Meta, Google, and LinkedIn in the required sizes and aspect ratios.
- Build landing page visuals, hero images, and section graphics that match the page copy and layout.
- Produce variations of winning creative so the media buyer has fresh options to test.
- Keep every asset inside the firm's brand guide for color, type, logo use, and disclaimer placement.
Case Results and Practice Collateral
- Turn settlement and verdict figures into clean case result graphics for social and web.
- Lay out one-pagers, practice area sheets, and downloadable guides from supplied copy.
- Adapt a single piece of collateral across print, web, and social formats without losing legibility.
- Flag anything that needs legal review before it goes out.
Short-Form Video
- Cut attorney talking heads and client testimonials into vertical clips for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
- Add captions, b-roll, lower thirds, and music beds that fit the firm's tone.
- Edit video ad creative with hooks in the first three seconds and clear end cards.
- Clean up audio, color, and pacing on raw footage shot on phones or in office setups.
AI-Assisted Production
- Use image generation and editing tools to build backgrounds, textures, and concept visuals on tight timelines.
- Run background removal, upscaling, and retouching through AI tools instead of by hand where quality allows.
- Generate auto-captions and rough cuts, then refine them manually so nothing ships raw.
- Test new tools and report back on what actually saves time.
Briefs, Revisions, and Throughput
- Read the brief before starting and ask questions up front rather than after the first draft.
- Hit a weekly output target across static and video work.
- Take direct edits and turn them around without redoing finished work.
- Keep files, project folders, and exported assets organized so anyone on the team can find them.
Qualifications
- Three or more years designing marketing assets and editing video, with a portfolio that shows ads, social graphics, and short-form video (a certificate is not a substitute).
- Working command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, or Figma and CapCut or DaVinci Resolve if that is your stack.
- Hands-on use of AI tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva Magic Studio, Runway, Descript, or Topaz for generation, cleanup, upscaling, and captions.
- Experience designing to an existing brand guide and producing multiple format variations from one concept.
- Comfortable producing ten or more finished assets a week without quality sliding.
- Take feedback literally and act on it, including blunt edits, without defending the first version.
- Strong written English for reading briefs and posting clear updates in Slack, Asana, ClickUp, or similar.
- Reliable overlap with US business hours and a home setup that handles video editing (a capable machine and stable internet).
